Annleigh Kay McManis, 39, of Spanish Fork died March 16, 2001. She was born September 22, 1961 to Stanley and Linda Kay Marn McManis.

She graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park, KS. She attended Ricks College and graduated from Brigham Young University. She also served an LDS mission to Washington, D.C.

Annleigh was currently employed as a Test Engineer by Meta Storm of Orem, and was also the Cedar Hills correspondent for the New Utah! news group. In her spare time she loved to be with children, write music, research genealogy, and go camping.

She is survived by her six week-old son, Robert Alan McManis; her parents of Overland Park, KS, Stanley Leon and Linda Kay Marn McManis; two brothers and a sister: Stanley L. (Lee) McManis II and his wife Leslie, of the U.S. Embassy, Moscow, Russia; Kelsey Dean McManis, Kansas City, MO; Alana Lynn Groshong and her husband, Terry of Overland Park, KS. Other survivors include nieces Tara Groshong King and her husband Matt King, Jessika Groshong, Lindsey Groshong, and Haley King, a grand-niece. Paternal Grandparents: Lyman R. and Mildred I. Evans, Maternal Grandmother: Virginia Powell, and Aunts: Sue Ravenscraft and Terry McIntire, as well as numerous great-aunts and uncles.

How did she pass away if you don't mind my asking? She and I had several classes together and although I didn't know her well.
