Robert Rafferty

We mourn the loss of Robert Denton Rafferty, Jr., who died on February 23, 2011 at his home at age 49. Bob was originally from Overland Park, KS, and is a graduate of the University of Kansas. Bob was the Regional Vice President for Bacterin International. Bob was loved for his generous spirit, his great sense of humor, and his devotion to family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing, skiing, golf, boating and being outdoors with his family. Bob was president of the Keene Ranch Homeowner's Association and a member of Plum Creek Golf and CC. Bob loved life, always had time for everyone, and had inherited his dad's wry, ornery smile. Bob's life and times will always be remembered by his loving wife Tammy, his 2 children, Jake and Madison, his mother Doralie, his brother Ken and sister Karen, brother-in-law David Gast, his extended family and the many hundreds whose lives were touched by him. Services are Saturday, March 5th at 3:00 p.m. at the New Hope Presbyterian Church, 3737 New Hope Way in Castle Rock, followed by a reception at 5:00 p.m. at Cielo at Castle Pines, 485 W. Happy Canyon Road. A fund to help provide for the children's education has been established at FirstBank, 2 Plum Creek Parkway, Castle Rock, CO 80104, 303-688-5000 under the Robert "Bob" Rafferty Jr. Memorial Fund.

From all accounts, you were helping out someone in distress.  Bob, you are/were a gent.

Just learning of Bob's tragic death as I just found this website.  What a tragedy.  Bob was such a great guy.  He always had a smile and got along with everyone.  Even though he was one of the most popular guys at SMS he took time out for all people.
